Blue handled Snap-On...

I posted before about the old style blue handled screw drivers and was lucky enough to pick up a set of used Blue Handled screw drivers, a ratcheting screw driver, and a 3/8" ratchet. by being patient.

Curious how much stuff snap-on has made with the old style blue handles. The dark blue, not the crazy rare light blue. Been keeping most of my tools to match park bike tool blue.

Would like a stubby ratcheting screw driver and maybe a few more ratchets, just not sure how much stuff was made in that color....

Someone posted in a thread about S/O hard plastic handle screwdrivers a scan of an older (1995??) S/O catalog showing all the available colors for the screwdriver handles. I'm assuming the same catalog probably shows any of the plastic handled ratchets, etc that were available in blue as well. I wouldn't mind seeing that myself.

I have a set of the blue handled screwdrivers but nothing in the ratchet, etc dept. I'm with wrenchr... pics please :)

I am in desperate need of a SDD2 flathead in dark blue. Can you check and see what is available...

There was a #1 phillips and a *I think* SD?2 slotted. I thought he said a 2" slotted. But I've got to pick up an order next week, hopefully; so if it's an SDD2, I'll pick it up if you still want it.

I got a 12" striking pry bar, black hard-handle. And ordered 2 sets of Blue Point ear protectors.

Is this the light blue handle? It is a Snap-On 3/8" Drive breaker bar, with one of those ratcheting head attachments on it.

Yup thats the light blue... I have RARELY EVER seen anything in that color besides mini screwdriver and pick sets. WOW pretty cool!

Vinko if he doesn't want those screwdrivers I need them for my blue handled collection :)

I'll pick up the two blue ones within the next few weeks if they're still on the truck.

I'll also look one more time for anything people need. Rather do it all in one shot, so if someone needs either orange, black or silver/gray hard-handled stuff, that's what remains other than the navy blue.

No green, unfortunately. Because I need a No. 1 green slotted I think.

OK. It'll be either No.1 or No. 2 Slotted and the 1 or 2 Phillips.

I picked up everything the SO guy had, which was:

1 SDD2
2 SDDP31

I paid $13.15 each. Let's say $15 (to cover paypal expenses) + UPS shipping.

I'll give everyone who posted or PM'd, in order, the right of first refusal.

I can get them out early next week.

There was some orange, grayish-silver, and black left too.

I owe an e-mail to Orange (I'll make it to the post office for int'l post either Friday or Monday and will give you the total amt.) and some others, but my driver has these as well:

Red: stubby phillips and slotted

SDDP122P/102P orange
SDDP301 orange

SDD1416 orange and black

SSDEP318/30b in black.

SDDP63 in black

posidrive #1 and #2 in silverish-grey

a set or two of torx in orange and the mixed set of phillips/slotted in orange.

a mini-hook and pick in orange

And maybe something else in red. He's going to break up a set or two that were "promotional packs" (his phrase).

Also some awls in red and black (picked one up for myself).

Also, some hex drivers in dark blue. 3/8's. 2 of them.

A torx or two in black.

I had to write the numbers, etc. down fast because the truck was kinda crowded.

There were a couple of nice looking long phillips with the 60's style handles. I love that handle (which I've mainly seen in the ads except for a torx set my father bought, I'm assuming in the 80's) more than the 90's style. Though the 90's handle is more comfortable for me to turn.
