You bet! Its a 1969 sportsroof not a Mach or anything. She has her fair share of dings and dents but the paint is still pretty nice overall. The picture makes it look a lot nicer than it really is. I've had it for about 17 years now and over the course of the last year I have made some big strides in getting the car done the way I want. I'm wanting to go the pro-touring route but time and money aren't on my side so I'm taking it one step at a time. I pulled the stock 302 out last Spring and stroked it out to a 347. It dynoed at 440 hp at the rear wheels. Torque was a pretty similar number but I cant remember what it was exactly. I also swapped out the original 3 speed with a toploader 4 speed and put a 9" posi unit in running 3.73 gears. Suspension/Paint work is next but for the time being I'm just going to enjoy driving it.
Crazy man, there are no door or engine tags. The only tag left on the car is the VIN and its wrong. It says the car is a coupe. It must be a salvage I guess. I wish I knew more about it. It did have a clear NM title when I got it so all is legit.
Nice, the 69' and 70' fastback has always been my favorite body style. Wonder if its a salvage or a.......misplaced car slid back into the system. Either way, keep us posted on updates of the garage and the car.
