Opinions on Knipex

Knipex rocks.... actually IIRC there are a few sets of S/O pliers made by Knipex. I know Mac for sure sells some.

All the tool trucks do, and I THINK there are some sold in Sears stores, marked as Craftsman. MY Snap On guy had them marked as Knipex, but I think MAC and MATCO have them marked with their respective names.

My favorite pliers. They're comfortable, durable, and well made. German engineering and quality at its best. Shop around for the best deal and stay away from Sears (unless it's on clearance) as there are wide price ranges.

I'd love some more Knipex, but all I have so far is the 7" and 10" Cobra style pair that Sears had on sale a couple weeks ago.

When looking for used stuff I keep my eyes peeled for Knipex and Klein.

Sometimes hate to always agree with him, but Knipex bury every other brand period, they make channel lock look kinda flimbsy

I see I'm not alone in liking Knipex. I am an electrician, and as such, have been kinda brainwashed into Klien pliers. I like Klien VERY much and yes I have and use some others manufacturers as well.
I just bought my first Knipex about a month ago. I was looking for a pair of long dikes. It boiled down to Knipex or SnapOn as the only ones having the tool I was looking for. I stumbled across a Knipex salesman before I saw the SO truck again.
I'm glad I did! I WILL buy some more Knipex. Especially since I can access Knipex easier and (for what I wanted) a bit cheaper than SO's version.

while i like knipex pliers i never felt that they make channellock's feel flimsy .

I like Knipex...a little:

while i like knipex pliers i never felt that they make channellock's feel flimsy .

Same here. I have plenty of Knipex pliers and - at the risk of being flamed - I personally feel that the Knipex feel a little flimsy compared to a beefy set of Channellock pliers.

That being said, I also prefer Facom to both so I am a little different.
