In Southern CA there is a Corporate SO office that i always asked myself WTF do they do there??? Huge official 3D logo at the front of the place is the typical all red "Snap-On" logo. I go to a auto part warehouse that shares a parking lot with the SO office. This afternoon I just happen to see a fair amount of employees come out of the place all in short sleeve button up SO shirts getting off work. I went up to a guy and asked what the hell did they make there. There was a big wood sign in front of the building that said: "looking to hire CNC operators"

Guy told me they are a "torque wrench" production facility. I asked the new style vibrate torque wrenches he said YES, I asked old style click type and he said yes and i asked the older dial type and YES to that tooo

So for my self at least I finally figured out what the Hell that office was used for:lol_hitti:rocker::D;):drool::drool::drool:

Plus besides manufacturing, they would need offices for product planning, marketing, sales, dealer support, customer service, etc.. My wife's brother works as a planner at a hand tool company. I wish I had his job -- dealing with tools all day! But it probably gets tedious.

If you think that's tedious, imagine pushing paper for almost 29 years on the Army's tools/kits and almost never seeing the tools. :eyecrazy:

The side of the building reads "CDI Torque Products- A Snap-On Company"

And yeah, that is kinda cool that the Google car drives all the way around the building.
