-Built some simple risers for the midrise lift.
-Packed up some parts that were sold and get them ready to ship.
-Started to clean up and restoring vintage Monroe Shock garage clock
-Replace a missing seal between the airbox and mass air flow meter on the 911
-Stayed out of sight while my 12yo daughter had friends over.

Am building a shed behind the garage this weekend. Going to use it for dry storage rather than rent a storage unit.

Re: what did you do in your garage today?

Started the morning by drilling a 1-1/2" hole in my roof! Pulled a single continuous piece of 6 AWG solid copper ground wire from a new weatherhead in the peak of my second story roof through a new junction box I installed today in the attic, then ran through the attic, through the second floor bathroom shower wall, through a section of the first floor attic, came down through my main panel, ducked through the 2" conduit between my main panel and the service entrance panel, dropped out the bottom of the service entrance panel and headed for the ground rod where it belongs.

Also finished pulling two runs of UF (10/3 with ground). The UF also needed to go through the main panel, through the 2" conduit between the main panel and the service entrance panel, but it took a left at the service entrance panel and got fully dressed in the new solar combiner panel I mounted a few weeks ago. The two runs of 10/3 start in the attic, and will get dressed into the new attic junction box later this week.

I installed my BendPak HD-9 on 5/25, I raised my garage door 14 inches to make nice room by adding 14 inch splice to track

I installed a hitch, too on my 2012 Ram. It was kind of clever the way they supply you with the fish-wires to pull the hardware through the frame rails.

Then I had to flip the receiver over and remove the ball, since this truck is about 4" higher than my old one. Ball nut was friction-welded on, beat on it with every tool in the garage, finally cut one side through and then banged on the cut with a chisel and a 5-lb. hammer, still no budge. Cut through other side and it finally relented, time for a new ball.

pppfftt, little JB weld, duck tape and you will still be better than some of the boat ramp hijinks I have seen.

I relised i need a 16mm box end wrench to fill out the size i am missing (for no other reason than it bugs me)

Got out the trust abrasive chop saw and started making legs for a couple of steel saw horses. About half way through the saw stopped working. Looks like the brushes are gone. Can't get replacements until tomorrow. So I gave it up and came into the house.

Climbed up on the second story roof and started dismantling my Decra metal tile roof. Now I've got a 200 piece jigsaw puzzle and one solar panel rail mounting bracket mounted (101 more to go!). Pulled two tarps over the roof for the night just as a passing shower came in...

Moved some stuff around to make some room for a new tool box. I have some room to grow again. Few empty draws. Now they are both under the workbench.

Re: what did you do in your garage today?

Worked on my $10 yard sale chainsaw. Wasn't oiling the bar, so I replaced the rotted hoses to and from the pump. Still no oily love, so I gave up. Parts are no longer available, so I'll just lube the bar manually with a squirt can. I don't use it enough to put any more time into it.

Cut some branches and suckers off one of the junk/trash trees in the back yard. Worked fine!

Checked over my Toter today, it's been in hibernation for 8 months and I take it out this Thursday for the first time this year.

I built a small shelf for some cleaning supplies, cleaned up a little and organized some trash for a yard sale.

Removed and straightened the jacks on my camper, then bent them again unloading it, then I removed and straightened the jacks on my camper.

The whole day went like that.
