Question for those with Racedeck Free Flow Floors

I am considering the Racedeck Free Flow tiles and have some questions for those who have installed this system.

I live in Florida and my garage floor has a natural pitch for water to run out. Since we get so much heavy rain in the summer time, I'm considering the Free Flow tiles so that when the water drips off the car, it goes through the tiles and runs out as normal. However, I'm also concerned about the regular dirt, sand, etc. that I tend to sweep out of the garage ever week. What happens to that? Does the dirt, sand, etc. simply fall through the Free Flow tiles and then sit on the floor underneath? If so, what is the recommended cleaning tips? Use the shop vac to vaccuum the tiles?

Thanks. I read the other Free Flow thread and followed a link to another thread that pretty much described my same question. Good information.

Luckily, I won't have to deal with the same challenges that a Michigan winter will deliver, however I'm more concerned about the sand and other dirt that will get in between the grooves of the tiles. I'm hoping my shop vac with a wide attachment will be enough.

You should have no issue and we should have a video up soon in our "how To" section on our site showing this and other common questions. ( ex; remove and single tile or section, install tips, cleaning, design, et)

No issue at all, there are numerous threads about this for sure. I just use a good shop vac over the tiles and then mop the top and its as good as new. Takes no time to dry as well after moping as the actual surface area of the tile is minimal.

Not as smooth compared to a smooth surface obviously, but still not an issue.
