With all the hot deals recently, it was time to clear out some space. Finally got around to opening some of the new stuff & finding it a home.

prybars & WF chisels from sears & the kobalt ratchet

Lowes put some Channellocks on clearance
2.jpg

2 new to me sanders & father's day gift
3.jpg

tried to get all the USA tools in one shot but it came out blurry and I missed one anyway

Now this is weird. I never seen 'make an offer' at Lowes before. They had 3 sanders and a drill all labeled that way. The PC sander came from a pawn shop for $10. Still works great.

Nice stuff for sure but damn that green, blue and red hammer is kinda ugly. Why the green? hey could've made that part of the hammer a different color. :p

The different color heads are removable and are made of different materials. There are at least 5 replaceable heads and they are all color coded to know which is which. ;)

Three dozen! Wow!

My new guy said he was getting that many as well. And come in sets of 4. Some of the tools seemed pretty reasonable that are packages. Hoping he'll have them next week. I've asked him twice so pretty sure he's gonna save me a set.

Used my free SYW rewards points on the Craftsman hose clamp pliers. One of those "no good substitute" tools that I'll use only once in a DIY blue moon.

You'll only use it once in a blue moon, but when you do,you'll be glad you have it...

that is extremely useful for people who have to deal with hard to reach hose clamps all the time. i wish i still had one.... buying it next time i go out now that you brought back all my fond memories of trying to manuever a pair of pliers in a really awkward position

I have had a good streak on Craigslist lately. Here is the latest installment and the 3rd 9 Drawer craftsman bottom box I have scored in the last 2 weeks ;). The first was $50 and came with a 4 drawer top box. The second was $20 (featured here)

Today's score was $140 for all 3 boxes pictured, which I think was pretty good deal. The lid is missing though.

WOW, you really ****

Those 9 drawer bottoms are pretty rare, as well as the 4 drawer mid. That is alot of storage for a 26" wide setup. However, that stack must be pretty tall.

What are your plans for it? Keep it for use or fix it up and sell it like the last one?

Actually I did buy it to see if the 9 drawer box was cleaner than the mine (which was the first on I nabbed a few weeks back), I'll probably clean it up resell it, but not fully decided yet.

A few things of the MAC truck today! Clip tool, flex socket allen bits, small bit ratchets. I was bummed because the sockets no longer come in metric.
