Not bad, nice selection!

Also, don't worry, I'll find a lot more nice deals to temp you with. And if you try to leave, I'll have my deals follow you! Mwahahaha! Seriously, that's some nice stuff. Although... (don't hit me) there have been slightly better deals on Craftsman laser levels in the past.

What are those Facom pliers for? I cannot tell if they're wire strippers or locking pliers. I also spy a Grainger catalog and feet with feminine flipflops.

I think this is a good idea - threads about what GJ has directly or indirectly influenced us to buy!

I'm curios about those "pit posse" T-Bar handles... are they useful, good quality, where did you buy them and how did you pay for them? Inquiring minds want to know!

I should hit you! You are one of the worst around here.

Facom are ratcheting crimps http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23860

Grainger goods are being ordered this week. I'm doing a custom air compressor setup in my truck. That what the cheap HF impact tool is for. It's small but 1/2 drive so it's perfect for roadside work.

The feet belong to my lovely Filipino female nurse friend. :bounce:

Start up a thread and I'll re-post in it. :lol_hitti

i will take a video of how well these suckers spin due to the bearings in them...

They feel really well made. The chrome is really nice. For the money with all the included sockets and bits I think its a really nice tool for bikes\track.

I just got them and have been too busy finishing the shop project to use them yet. I'll do a full review in a few weeks if there is interest.

What chain tool is that? Looks a lot beefier than anything else I've seen. Does it rivet too or just break and press?

Mmm, air hammer and impact. You will really like using those!

A friend used my air hammer for the first time last week and started laughing at how easily his front tie rods popped off his car. LOL

OT - do we see the gf in the background?

# Cuts chain to length
# Three different extractor pins included, will fit 415-530 chains
# Press included to fit sides to proper depth, Either clip or rivet type
# Flares holes in pins on rivet links
# Case included
# Limited lifetime warranty; If it breaks we will replace it.Does not cover the extractor pins.

I've had impact gun for years. Like I said before this one is to use with the truck on-board system I'll be building.

Do you have a recomendation to a nice kit of chisels - tie rod tool - etc for an air-hammer?

That is in fact the gf.
We need pics of her, too.:lol_hitti
Yea... Um... Sorry...
I want those Irwin wire strippers. I may have to bite the bullet on those.
Dude you will love them. And I love that color combo.

I'd recommend the Gardner Bender SE-94 instead. It's available online for about the same price as the Irwin, maybe a drop cheaper.

Oddly enough, though, there is no country of origin info on the tool itself. =(

I dont have a full set of chisels yet but I got this set used for $35 a year ago and have been very pleased with it. The flat hammer bit is very useful. I also have a pointed bit instead of the flat chisel in the set this guy is selling.

 Are you a Subaru owner? They all get boners over blue and yellow.

What's your reasoning? They look to be of a similar design. Just curious.

I've held them side by side and they look functionally identical. The Irwin were just prettier :spit:

So terabyte, are you a network cable installer. I some times get contracted out to help out as a cable installer. The only cable tester I own is the Paladin LAN ProNavigator? Tester (it retails for $99, I bought mine new off eBay for $30). It fits my personal needs at the moment put I do need to get some better cable testers and identifiers.

nice picts and stuff. I didn't know what some of that stuff was but looks like you got some good deals.

I want to get a blue cabinet with a yellow top chest, or some other combination of those two colors. I remember seeing a Napa combo that looked pretty sweet.

I'm a Network Engineer but I often have to verify that the wire is not the issue so being able to go behind the wiring vendor and verify their work is nice. I got this one off eBay for $65. And I highly recommend it. I have owned the same exact model in the same but lost it. I have the other 7 identifiers though as I had the nicer set.

I also really like that this unit is a tone generator so it's one less piece of equipment in my suite case as all my clients are out of the state.

I have been thinking of yellow box\frame and blue drawers. I would just repaint the boxes I already have. But orange really had me thinking...

I have used this type of tester before and use it pretty much the same way as you do. Does that one blink the hub light of the port its plugged in to. I have used some of the older linkmaster's and that was a handy feature to have. I plan on getting this model next Tempo LAN Toner Kit. It has the hub blink feature and is a tone and wand. I work in a small rural town as a Network Engineer, so I end up having to do a lot of different type of work. There really isn't very many techs out here that do this type of work, but there is a lot of work to be had.

We should post some of our other tools in a different thread to show off some of our other toys.

This is the older one; http://www.idealindustries.com/prodDetail.do?prodId=33-826
and does not blink the hub. The newer XL version does; http://www.idealindustries.com/prodDetail.do?prodId=33-880

I have the older version of the Tempo toner and tone generator from before they were called Tempo.

Most of my clients are small town hospitals out in pretty rural areas. I was just in Kennett, MO last week. Mind you I live in Miami, FL :lol_hitti

For that other post I'm game.

Cable Tester
Punchdown tool
Toner
Laptop running Linux
and I'm a pretty dangerous individual.

Heck I might need to dig up my buttset.
