Liberty Tool Field Trip (pictures)

I went on a recent trip to Liberty Tool and thought I would share some pictures. I am going back and will take more pictures, but also thought I might take some orders, provided I can find what you are looking for. I was on my way back from a job and they closed at 5:00 so I only had a few minutes to poke around. I got an armstrong C-clamp for $12.50 and called it a day.

I haven't been out to Liberty in 15yrs. I used to go 2-3 times a year on my way to my camp (located in the opposite direction). Now that I've seen your pictures, I'm starting to get a craving that my wallet isn't going to like.

The prices were pretty reasonable. I was tempted to buy a bunch of sockets, but I figured I have to go back with a list of sockets and wrenches that I actually need. They had brands I had never heard of. next time I go back I will take pictures of individual pieces. If anyone is looking for a particular size and brand, I can try and find it.

I didn't even make it into the other building. I promise I will get there earlier next time so I can get some good quality time to look through all the goodies. Those pictures were of the main tool area, but there are two more floors of stuff, including tools.

I've driven there from Long Island! And its worth the trip.

It isn't that far of a drive for you. Your wallet may take a hit though!

I had been there, just not in a long time. I was in the area and thought it was worth the extra miles to go. I wanted some pictures for the GJ anyways. We used to go there a few times a years when I was younger.

i wish there were more places like that, i love to look through awesome well used tools that have been doing the job for years, just as much as i like opening a brand new tool that is gonna get used every day.

anyone know of any similar places around the U.S.?

I haven't been there in years.It is a unique and amazing place.I am an amputee and it would be very difficult to get around and explore.One must take an entire day to really get the full benefit My wallet will stay intact as I fight the urge
