Very nice shop! I had a migatronic welder like that but I could not get parts for it here in the states so I sold it to a guy who had one like it to make 1 good one out of 2

Love it, can't wait for more pics. Hope you get the building at a great price as it's got a lot of character and would be a shame for it to be just knocked down one day like most old buildings seem to have happen.

Construction is progressing too slowly, we are in the middle of race season and it takes an awful lot of time.

Very nice building. Lots of history there! You have us beat at the Restored 1930s Auto Shop - we've only disposed of approximately 60 tons of metal. It doesn't appear that you had to deal with recycling tires or old mobile homes or a multitude of dead rodents. Count yourself luck there!

I'm glad the museum was able to get some pictures for documentation. We are, after all, only the caretakers of these pieces of living history. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to use our building instead of seeing it torn down for some ticky-tacky housing development.

I'll keep watching your progress. Race season does have a way of delaying some of the restoration. We've been dealing with that for the past 7 years as well.

Wery well said Chris ,
Just to mention one other thing, your project is one of the reasons we went to work with this :)

Wow them's some awesome ingredients for sure! No complaints from here if you post pics of that build.

Mine was only a daily driver work car and from back in the 70's I had G-50's on the rear and G-60's upfront with a massssive 307 cui :D I put 198,000 miles on it before it was junked. Back in them days 200,000 miles on an engine was a milestone. At the end I had it burning a qt of oil a month and had to put new plugs in every 2 months to keep it running smooth. It turned into a rust bucket and the 18 year old kid who bought it from me in the 90's for $100 barely made it home with it.

My all time fav year if I could have another would be the 66 SS and it would be in blue.
