I just preped my floor
1step. Cleaned with simple green and floor power scrubber
2. Used a dimabrush with 50 grit
3. Acid etch
4. Nutralized with baking soda
5. Rised off with hose

End results water disapates around every oil spot on the floor. I can't even see an oil spot but the oil must be embedded in the concrete. What will clean this?
Does eat oil bt200 work
Does anyone have any advise.

i was told to pour acetone on the spot and cover it with floor dry or kitty litter (it may have been to cover it first then pour acetone on the floor dry). haven't tried it yet but i have several spots when i get to it.

ITS meant to wick thru evaporation !

I poured a little bit of paint thinner on the oil stain. Then I put some cat litter and ground it to powder using a piece of a brick. It absorbed the stain...at least it lightened it up alot. I did a repeat of the liquid and litter grinding. It did not completely remove the stain, but I stained the garage floor using concrete stain I got mixed at the paint store.

To use the stain I used some muriatic acid as instructed to etch the smooth concrete glaze and rinsed with a garden hose.

I let the floor dry for a couple of days and stained it with good results. The stain has worked pretty good for "hot tire" .

Greased Lightening or Drive Up. Apply directly, brush in lightly. Let dry overnight. Rinse.

Repeat if necessary.

The drain pan split on my son the other day. Lost most of it on the drive. 2 applications and you can't see anything !

"Pour-n-Restore" worked great on my stubborn oil stains. I was impressed how well it "pulled" the oil out of the concrete.

Kitty Litter works well. However, it is important to take a mallet and tap on the Kitty Litter crushing it into the concrete thereby forcing the small particles into the concrete to soak up as much oil as possible. Just be sure to rub that Kitty Kitter in real good. Let the Kitty Litter stay on the area for about an hour. Sweep it up and chack the results.

This has worked well for me over the years.
