Tool box drawer depth

Hi all, got a question, I am in the process of upgrading my tool box, I have a Snap On Krl 1001 and it is packed to the gills, any way I was talking to my mac guy about the mb 1900 triple bay. Anyway I thought I had decided, that was until I measured the depth of my snap on top drawer, I thought it was a 4 inch deep drawer but when I measured it, it was only 3 5/8 inch deep, so I got to thinking if I order the Mac with the 4 over 2 will the 4 inch drawer really be 4 inches deep or will it be less, My mac guy has never ordered that combination of top drawers so he does not know. If anybody has any feedback it would be great.

Cheers:beer:

The catalog will tell you. I can check tomorrow for you. I have a 1901A, I have the 6in drawer (love it.) Anyway I am pretty sure it is just under 4in.

Hey John that would be great, the catalog does say 4 inch over 2 inch, but my snap on box drawer is suppost to be a 4 inch, but it is not 4 inches tall so I was wondering how they measure the height of their drawers.

They probably measure from the height of the front of the drawer. Internal height is likely a bit less than that, to account for metal thickness, clearance between drawers, etc.

It should be exactly 4in (inside height.)
Mine is exactly 6in (inside.)

You could always call 800 MAC TOOL to confirm.
