He said that he was going to be busy getting ready for the SEMA show, so my bet is that he has a lot of work to get caught up on also. I am also certain that he does try to spend some quality time with his family whenever he isn't on the road. It isn't like he is a low level employee. He has lots of responsibility. He gave me his cell phone number once when I needed to get back to him with an answer. I used it to call a few days later, and he took the call, even though he was at Disney with his children. He works even on his days off. NO....... I will not give out his cell phone number, so don't ask. :lol_hitti

Will not be such a stranger after I return from Vegas.

See some of you there.

Awesome product from the looks of it. I have fantisized for years about having a lift in the garage. Knew it would never happen though because of the garage door. Your product gets me there.
I'm sending the wife up to your booth this week to get info. She works for Gearwrench so you'll probably recognize her. Hey maybe some tools for a deal on a lift? :)

Please add me to your initial purchase order list.

We met at a superbowl party of all places. She told me what she did for a living and I told her that day I was going to marry her. 4 years later I did

This is going to sound bad but I have tools in my garage that have never even been used. I've built two motors this summer so its not like I don't use tools either. Its not easy I tell ya

What do you do if your slab has radiant heat tubing in it???

Tim

Options:
1. 4-post lift
2. Scissor lift
3. locate heat tubes using infrared cameras
4. see if the builder/plumber has specs of where pipes were laid
5. see if PO has specs/pictures of where pipe are
6. drill and pray

Hello, Marc! Great to see fellow Rennlisters here!

I've followed your garage build on the Forum... Outstanding! We're still knee deep in house renovations, but our garage is next! My wife is a fellow long-time Porschephile, and we've been looking for the right lift for our 26 x 42 garage.

I think JSK (Jeff Kritzer) has the solution for our 100" ceiling/truss height. We've resigned ourselves to the compromises that we would have to endure, but I just couldn't stand the thought of an engine drop with a scissor type mid-rise. :headscrat I can't wait for it to come to market.

Keep the garage updates coming!

I am at SEMA, and will make it over to APEX to see Jeff / BendPak tomorrow. However, I did see the same lift being offered by another company today in the main LV convention center as well. Looks pretty nice.

Its NOT at the AAPEX show. I got my wife to walk all the way over there yesteday to see it but Jeff said they moved it over to SEMA last minute. The one you saw is the one they brought. He told me over the phone that they are going to market it through Danmar now. See here:

http://www.dannmar.com

Also said he still plans to do an initial group buy through garagejournal

Ah... interesting. Guess now I have to go find it again, since I didn't bother looking at it as intently as I could have since I was gonna see BendPak's :)

So what does this mean, that the new lift will not be sold by Bend Pak but only this dannmar now? Seems odd to me. Such a cool lift, I would prefer my own brand name be on it. Or, is this dannmar have a close relationship with Bend Pak?

I so want one of these lifts.

Add me to the GJ group buy list too. This lift is a real good balance for my needs and available space.

I'm curious too - is Dannmar owned by Bend-Pak? Are Dannmar's other lifts, specifically their 4 post lifts also made at Bend-Pak's factory in China?

I guess what I'm asking, are Dannmar's lifts really Bend-Pak's lower priced entry lifts? I had taken Dannmar out of consideration in my search for a 4 post lift, but now I'm wondering if I need to rethink that position.

Jeff - can you provide any clarification?

I have a BendPak and a Dannmar 4 post lifts and have been very pleased with both. The one you showed would be useful for many garages.

Add me to the GJ GB.

Although my shop is 60 X 75 with a 14' eave height, I've hesitated buying a lift because my wife says we're not going to stay at this house. As soon as the housing market warms a bit, it's going on the market. The idea of making an $1800 investment that's portbale to a new house is very appealing.

Now, on to the floor painting.....

Wow! This thing looks great! A perfect solution to my low ceiling issue. Please add me to the group buy when it happens as well!

Now - Anyone one interested in my ProPark 7 with 2 Projacks and Polyurethane casters - new and unused sitting in my garage in Norwood, NJ?! It's a huge paper weight at this time!!

Finally!!!! This is great! I am getting one. As much as I like the mid-rise I got from you, just having the area under the car clear is a lot better.

I had computer problems and had to rebuild a lot of my files. Just got GJ back up on my favorites and saw this! This is awesome news and solves a lot of issues I was having with building a new garage, which has been put off because of the issues. I think you will sell a bunch of these.

Sorry for being AWOL.

Busy.

Here's a quick video that shows how totally awesome the MaxJax lift really is.

http://www.maxjaxusa.com/maxjax-lift...jax-video.html

For all the naysayers.....told you so!

- It's very rigid even with this rear-heavy car.
- Equalization - very precise.
- Easy to install - 6 minutes to be exact.
- Columns cumbersome? - not.

Hope you like.

Jeff I have some nay-sayers on another site thinking that the lack of cables is unsafe. I disagree. How does this lift deal with a failed hydraulic like or a quick disconnect fitting popping off? Will it attempt to continue to lift one side with an open line? It looks like you are using a gear type positive displacement system to maintain equalization. Fluid moving through the system has to pass through two free spinning but linked gear pumps of a sort. If one turns the other does and the same amount of fluid passes through each. Is this how it is done? A popped dry break disconnect would stop flow in the disconnected line and stop the lift from rising or falling. How about an open line? Ether is unlikely just wondering so as to have an answer when asked. Also how far between safety stop lock points?

I like the look of this setup over X type lifts all day long.
