Online price for me at my local store is 23.98..might be lower in store. Could use one to measure property line to get an idea of how much fencing material I need.

So sick of this.....all the brick and mortar quality tools are being replaced with ****. All in the last few months (sears, lowes, homed depot).

I hear ya. I have all decent USA Craftsman Professionals, and Matco's. I actually have double because I have 2 joined garages. One for cars and one for bikes, so I have 2 roll cabs with the same tools in them so I don't have to run back and forth. Anything I buy from here on out will be Matco, Snap-On, etc. I get the Tech Ed discount with Matco being a night HVAC instructor, so when Matco runs big sales and free shipping, I stock up.

I wish my store had a 300' tape. They did have a 100' Stanley for $6.49 down from $29.99. It was the only one and the handle had about 1/4" of dust on it. It works well enough but the 300' would've been better.

I doubt the Kobalt is any less quality than the Lufkin, and it's probably made by Lufkin.

I am disappointed to see Lowes stop carrying ChannelLock/Knipex, but other than that their electrical department was meh to begin with (Greenlee). Probably makes good business sense for them so I can hardly blame them.

My local stores are out, don't even have tags for them any more. Bought some of those Nicholas files while I was there however.
