ANYTHING with drawers. dont get the open bin style..... they just collect dust... eventually i hope to pony up for a nice vimdar cabinet that i can store all my misc **** in one spot...

My bins are behind closed doors and are not collecting dust.

Stop posting your neat set ups, and your tons of fasteners. I hate my set up and haven't addressed it. You make me feel like I need an intervention. I can't find stuff (cabinets full of parts) on CL, Kijiji etc - although my indy garage guy found a real steal on cabinets so they exist.

Ah never mind, post away...I need the ideas. :)

C'mon my friend, we're all addicts that need an intervention. :D

Since this is not posted on Facebook, my family will never know ;)

To the OP:
One of my challenges is I have a mixture fasteners that were rejected from the dollar store (very soft). My plan should be to rid myself of that ****, find a suitable storage solution and start the process of filling the empty slots.

My electrical connectors / electronics stuff is in plastic containers similar to the pictures posted. I have a tool box just for electronics related tools and supplies.

I guess only a partial intervention is required.

it funny I found this thread today on hardware storage. I have alot of fasteners and I am tired of the plastic organizer boxes. I was at Home Depot today and saw this cabinet. Nice short drawers, full extension hinges, and many compartments. I climbed all over these boxes and couldnt find a name on the cabinet. Anyone know where I can pick up some of these?

i got five gallon bucket full of nuts and bolt, not enough shop to store them like a hardware store, so I been throwing all mine away and just hit the hardware store when i need some. think of all the bolts you will never need, hanging on to junk for twenty years, taking up space. if its not a 7/16 1/2 9/16 3/4 bolt, i don't need it
