Hello All,

I recently picked up a great new tool cabinet and tool tray and thought that y'all would like to check it out. This is a short version compared to what I included in my video, so if you'd like more info and details (and a few chuckles ) please check out my video here:

My first experience with BendPak was when I picked up their XPR-10A two post lift, which was an excellent investment and has completely changed how I work in the garage. Before getting a lift I always worked on my back, but as I've gotten older I was paying the price with days of sore muscles after wrenching. Now I can work faster, take on bigger projects and after a long day in the garage I am never in pain the next day! You can see a video of the lift install here:

So after being completely impressed with my BendPak lift and their great customer service, their Ranger line of toolboxes seemed like a great choice. I chose the Ranger RTB-13DC 13 drawer tool cabinet and RTB-8DT 8 drawer tool chest. Here it is after unloading it off of the truck. This package was around 500 pounds! Thankfully the truck driver was able to give me a hand.

Here are the individual boxes for the top box, bottom box and tool tray.

I opened the lower box and was happy to see that it was practically ready to roll! The finish looks great and is really glossy and deep. The bottom box weighs 285 pounds empty. So you'll need a hand getting it off the pallet!

Next I opened the top box, which also looked great. Heavy too at 142 pounds according to Ranger's website.

I was excited to get it all together, so we hoisted the top chest onto the bottom box. I then attached the handles onto the bottom box.

Here's a closeup of the bottom box and top chest handles

The setup comes with these thick drawer liners and drawer labels. I may use labels someday, but I prefer how it looks without them.

Here's my new Ranger setup next to my trusty old Craftsman box from back in 1999. It's been a good box, but is showing it's age! I plan to keep it for very light duty stuff.

Here's a look at the slides on the wide top drawer of the lower box

Here's that same drawer filled up!

To complement this great toolbox, I also chose the Ranger RCD-65 adjustable work table.

It's got lots of adjustment options- you can raise/lower/rotate the table, and extend the lower wheelbase if needed. According to the included instructions/info it can handle up to 55 pounds. I've loaded it up a couple times and it feels very solid.

I was terrible to leave tools all over the engine bay, and have lost at least a few that way in the past. No more! I wish I would've got one of these a long time ago! Even if a big toolbox isn't in your budget, this is an affordable way to work more efficiently and stay organized.

Although I've only used the toolbox and work table for a short time, I'm already very happy with them. They are solid, quality products that will make a big difference in how I work in the garage!

Thanks for reading and feel free to ask me any questions.

I agree with IONH. That's exactly what I first thought of when I saw the box. I was like that looks like my HF 44" 13drawer box.

Anyhow, I love that garage setup that you have. Clean, simple, and organized! I'll have one like that someday (hopefully).

Thank you bford! I haven't looked into the similarities/differences between it and the HF 13 drawer box, but you're right- the configuration and size are very similar.
