Picked up a box 3 times my age.

It is a Snap-on triple stack with original paint, surface rust were the paint has gone missing over its lifetime, minor dings, all slides are perfect, and every lock is matched.

What do you guys think it is worth someone who doesn't post on GJ.

I think there's that same bottom box on Craigslist for $40.00. Not nearly the shape your box is in.It's in the Buffalo CL in Niagara Falls.

Up here on craigslist that set would bring $350 -500 depending upon condition.

On eBay, you might get $250 just for the middle box. Some of them bring nutso prices.

I will probably post some more pics on the vintage tool box thread. THe negotiation was a PITA, cl ad and he is a flea market vendor who is a "former car salesman". Talked him down from 600 to 400. Fair price, we will likely sell the mid and keep the top and bottom.

My roommate and I had to double team him with a made up story about how i was just starting out and needed a box. Tried getting him to break up the set, but he knew the money was in the top boxes. Tried getting him to take the socket organizers and the side tray out of the deal, didn't come down enough to split. Finally the AZ heat got to him and he just wanted to get out of the sun.

spoiler: will post pics of the boxes I am flipping wednesday, if I can part myself with them, they are just so nice and got them so cheap.

I have 9 tool boxes in my garage now. The next tool box I get is going to be larger. Plus, It's not nearly in the shape as the one in the pic. That's a nice box you picked up.
