Sled, do you get winters in your location ? If you do, I'd flip (mirror image) the bathroom around. Put the plumbing in an interior wall to keep it from freezing in very cold winters.

PLUS You could add a window. I don't know about anyone else but I'd like as much daylight in the bathroom as possible.

I'm not sure I'd want a window in the bathroom seeing as there is a deck right there. I'd consider a good quality skylight though, maybe one over the bedroom too, if they are in the budget. :dunno:

Who said the glass has to be transparent? Translucent is good too! Diffuse daylight > electric lighting. anyday.

OP, new layout. Why two entries to bathroom? (Not a big deal, I can live with that)...the one door swings in, the other swings out... Why? Not trying to be picky, just giving me input. I think that if there's the potential for that bathroom door to be open, you might end up banging it with the entry door to the bedroom. Just something to think about.
Personally, I'd like to see a floor to ceiling window in the bathroom. Entire pane translucent. Mmmmm, :dunno:
