Hi folks, just introducing myself here.
My name is Danny, by day I'm a field service technician for a company that specialises in road making gear, by night I play a bit of music, and in my spare time I work on cars, motorcycles and tools and machines. I also do a fair bit of light fabrication work out of my shed using a pretty crappy bender and a pretty decent welder. I also have been known to use an epidiascope and badger airbrushes to reproduce large designs and artworks.
The stuff I like the most is generally wearing a blue oval, but mopar and GM cars also keep me pretty entertained.
The shed I'm in is as much of a multi function work space as a rented house can be, but its big enough for most projects.
Cheers, I look forward to getting involved here with any shelves or trolleys or interesting stuff I find.

Danny

Sorry about the delay here Glenn, I play guitar mostly, but through lack of bands needing a guitarist, I've started playing bass in a few bands too.
What about yourself?

I'm a keyboard player - classic rock, 60's to 90's, a little Beethoven and Mozart too, just for the heck of it, LOL...
BTW, I'm a blue oval guy too...

Just for a laugh. Do you guys play in a Garage band ? Well this is a Garage forum.

Hadn't thought about that - good one.
I played a gig "out" Friday night at a marina on a lake about 60 miles from here - definitly a high dollar garage, LOL...

I'm kind of terrified by the fact that 90's is now classic rock. It's still only ten years ago to me.

Well, I've recorded demos in garages, and I have used the program GarageBand to demo songs when I've had no better tools for the job... So yeah, I guess it could well be a garage band.
My next welding project is a work table and speaker bridge for my music room taking a bit of inspiration from the Vintage Industrial line of super villain furniture and Aerodrome Studios. 1-1/8" Acme ready rod uprights, Heavy steel base plates, rack mounted music gear, infinitely expandable etc etc. I'll see if my hands can fabricate the ideas that my head has come up with.
