Another Craigslist find and a heads up...

I picked up a 10 drawer industrial cabinet like my other today. It is in a little rougher shape, but not bad for $50. I attached pics.

He also has some very heavy shelving and a parts bin. Located in Paxton, MA. He is moving and stated needing to sell everything by Monday the 29th.

Did you look at that metal drawer unit? Is it solidly constructed?

Sweet, great deal. I think I have the same cabinet. Ironically mine is missing one drawer handle as well. Who made the you have? I think mine is a peerless 3200 or something IIRC. They are really nice for storing heavy things.

I didn't get the chance to look that one over. There was quite a bit of people helping the guy move and alot of shuffling into a couple of trucks. The drawers I picked up had been moved to a side driveway for easy in and out.

zkling - Ironically mine is missing one drawer handle as well.

He gave me a few extra handles that I didn't really look at yet; just tossed them in the back of the truck. It looks like more than I am missing? If so, I'll take a few pics of them. If I have any extras you can use, their yours.

I have been going to make a handle for years but never got around to it. It's a goofy size hole pattern

Here is a pic of mine, note upper right drawer I will get a CTC hole measurement tomorrow. Many thanks.

Do the drawers on yours come out by lifting them up out of the undertray? I actually consider these to be 20 drawer cabinets.

zkling, here are a couple pics of the drawer layout you mentioned. It is technically a 20 drawer cabinet. You cabinet looks newer and in really great shape! The last pic is where the manufacturer's badge used to be.....not sure what it was?

After looking thru the handful of drawer pulls, I was missing 4 and still need another as one is an aftermarket/make-shift handle. I am very sorry as I do not have any to offer you. I wish I did though. Your handles look different so, maybe it was for the best? Again, I am sorry if I got your hopes up.

Lets just say the picture of mine is flattering.

After I posted I noticed the drawer handle differences as well. Don't worry about it. Thanks for the offer earlier though. Like you said probably works out for the better. Unfortunately I can't tell you where to get replacement handles, because I don't know myself. At lest on cabinets like ours you really don't need two handles to pull "both" drawers out.

Yours is a bit different than mine. Mine does not have those long cutouts in the bottom of each drawer. That kinda blows for small parts storage. Maybe a piece of thin plywood or the like to put in the bottom?
But like mine yours does have the lift out drawers/tray. Should roll on actual ball bearings, just like the lista and other cabinets.

Looks like a nice cabinet, put it to good use. If I can find a source for those handles I will let you know. What is the CTC on your handle holes?

Those look like fairly std 3" CTC drawer pulls, and you might want to check out a better hardware store or online for something close/match. (My Ace has a GREAT selection but can't match on line of course)

zkling & Outlawmws, I just went and measured a few drawers to compare. On both of my cabinets, they are appx. 3 & 3/4" to 3 & 13/16" center to center. Kinda odd, but also kinda old
