Over the last several months I have acquired two storage systems for my screws, nuts, bolts, etc.

I picked up two old labrary card files with a stand (see first photo below)

And last month I scored a set of KAR cabinets (see photos 2 and 3 below0

Then, just today (08AUG13) I spotted this in the Colorado Springs CraigsList. It is totally awesome and I would LOVE to buy it! This thing is awesome!! It is listed as coming from a 1950's Hardware Store (see 4th photo below)

There is only one problem: the asking price is $2,400: http://cosprings.craigslist.org/atq/3987610069.html D@MN

Guess I'll just hafta settle for what I have.

Craig

The old hardware store down the street from my house had one of those rotating parts bins, the place was in business from the 1920s up until a couple years ago when it finally closed.

I picked up the KAR cabinets used (probably paid too much -- $300) but they came with a bunch of hardware in the trays. I haven't had a chance to dig through them yet.

I doubt you overpaid, if you did not by much. I believe the going rate for those is $20-25/drawer, which is even better if they came with hardware.
