Reluctantly painting garage floor

Im going to paint my garage floor and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to use (brand/type etc).

I know painting it is a terrible idea, but until I am ready to porcelain tile it, this is going to have to do, and if I have to reapply yearly, im fine with that until I can tile it.
Previous owners looks like they painted it a long time ago, as its there in some parts and completely gone in others.
Basically i just want easier sweep ups without all the dust. Between the odd jobs and yard equipment, and all the sand from the roads in the winter, I am constantly out there sweeping the floor, but the dust cloud from the unpainted part is really getting under my skin.
I have yet to go the hardware store to see what is available for my application, figured I'd ask on here first.
My garage is a double-tandem, 4 car.
Appreciate any advice.

If you're planning to install tiles, don't waste your time or money on painting the floor. All you're doing is making more work for yourself when prepping is needed to install the tiles.

Well, after finding (thanks CNG) and reading a lot of previous posts on the topic, I think your right, I should just wait on it and tile when I can. Tiling will come if not next fall, then the year after that. Lessening the prep work for that by not painting now makes sense.
Oh well, couple more years of dust wont kill me. Hopefully.

I 'was' going to paint my floor and threads like this and a bunch of others convinced me to NOT paint the floor.

I'll wait until I can afford to do it right with epoxy.

It wasn't posts by people who peddle epoxy, was it? There are several posts by people who simply paint and like it because it's inexpensive and easily touched up. They are selling nothing and typically don't post much about it.

It depends what your budget allows and what you are doing on it. I painted my floor with the seal Krete paint and clear 2 years ago. The paint has held up well, in fact my only patching has been where there is a giant crack, and my repair of the crack didn't hold well. I do wood work and work on my cars in the garage, so the floor sees some of the abuse.
