The independent tool guy(Sells SK,KD,Gearwrench, OTC...) that comes to my shop, makes a stop at another shop that was getting all new lifts.

Picked it up for $500. Rotary 7,000 pound capacity. Should make a few things easier.

EDIT: Does anyone have any guidence on what is the best gauge wiring to wire this up with? 10, 12, 14?

Thanks

That's the same exact lift they have at Bingham Toyota. There's supposed to be a channel bar that goes across the top to route the cable.

I was lifting up a Ford Aerostar van up on one of those lifts one day. I wanted to get it up as high as I could. I kept bumping the lift button ... a little more ... a little more ... just a little more I thought to myself ... SHATTER!! There goes the front windshield. :eek2:

So whats the overall height of this lift? It looks like a good choice for those who dont have a 12' high garage ceiling.

Merkava, the ones with an overhead bar are supposed to have a cable/trip wire hooked into the power supply to cut off power when the vehicle gets to high.Yours was either missing or inoperative.

That is as high as I can get it. You can see my brother next to it who is 6'. The main beam is 8' Tall.
