It was just some roofing felt paper to keep the concert off the walls.

The breezeway is starting to go together, hopefully it will be done tomorrow.

Nice! I like the C5 too.

I'm in the process of buying a house with a building this size. It's steel like this one but arranged a little differently. It has 3 bays, and the space is wide open. The current owner walled off the first bay, but included a large sliding door, so it could be opened back up. He has a wood shop in there, and works on his vehicle in the large side. This is perfect for me, and exactly how I wanted to use the building when I found this house. The deal is going through well, and very quickly. I hope it continues to go all the way through. I am looking forward to having the home and shop. I also drive a C5, a 2001 convertible.

I realized yesterday that I joined this forum in 2005 or 6 and never posted! I was building a garage in FL at that time, then things went bad for me. OK now though, and I am in NJ now.

Again, your garage looks great thus far. I like the breezeway idea, too -- and the floors! Wow!

Thanks 2manycars

Wish you the best with your house endeavors, it can be a trying experience for sure. I've been trying to get this construction finished and move all at the same time.

My C5 has turned into a mostly weekend autocross car, you just start upgrading and one day you realize its no longer comfortable on the street.

and thanks again, btw don't think you can have to many cars ;)

Very nice!

Can you show how you mounted the outside meter box?

I have a barn with the same siding and have been wondering how best to mount the outside box given the ridges.

I didn't get that many pic of the install, but my meter box mounting holes fit right on top of the high ribs. I had one in the center of the box so I cut down some conduit to match the height of the ribs and put some putty around it to keep the weather out. Then a o-ring 2inch main conduit, I also took the extra ground wire out in the pic.
