I see Grainger is having some kind of sale on Westward wrench sets. 25% off all sets.

17 piece 1/4"-1-1/4" full polish 3XU44 for $138.30
17 piece 7-27mm full polish 3XU46 for $113.36

They come in a nice looking wrench roll. They are China made but don't seem lobster clawish.

I can get better pricing with my company account and am tempted on the metric set for a backup set. I am not in need of any more SAE sets.

If anyone else is interested I might see how low I can get the pricing on the metric set and could do a mini group buy maybe.

For $250 you could buy a bunch of gearwrench stuff, and it's probably made in the same factory

I have no intention of paying the prices I listed. My current price on my account is already cheaper than the Amazon prices you listed. I am saying I am going to see how low of a price I can get if anyone else is interested. I also get free shipping or pickup on these as well.

Thats why I can't believe you guys are considering them. We deal with Grainger and they buy them because of the price of Proto

The sale price now brings the 17 piece 7-27mm full polish 3XU46 from $113.36 down to $85.01

I see the full polish are China but there satin are Taiwan.

The 17 piece satin 7-27mm, part# 4PL91 is only $71.78 now

Thats how I feel. I prefer the full polish but I dont know if its an upgrade in this case. Im usually not dissapointed in taiwan made hand tools. At this price and such a complete set with a wrench roll I feel will make great backup set. I get free shipping but would have to pay minnesota sales tax
