First non-intro thread here goes!

looking into buying the Matco SP8230BL cart, however... I want to know a few things from any owners that may be out there.

1. Made in USA? That's a biggin' for me, even though I've had some great imports, this is a purchase I'd like to have be US made!

2. Quality? Is it good, will it roll with all your oil change/brake job tools?

3. Any long term owners still have good luck with it? Any major failures? That would be an issue I'd like to know about.

TIA for any help guys, this is why I joined Garage Journal!

Its made in China. If you want USA you need to prepare yourself to spend considerably more.

I figured that, I might grab it regardless the price is low, I would have 30 days to decide if it's a POS and return it. CL scouring beings now...

While I'm on the subject, other than a thread of made in USA on this site, is there any master list of Matco, Cornwell, Mac, etc. US made tools and equipment? I know I'm not the first guy to ask, and yes I have searched for it and looked through pages of old threads, but haven't found any such beast.

I don't think we have a master list like that, and if we did it would probably always be changing as tool trucks replace one tool or line with another which sometimes involves a change in origin as well.

We do have some dealers and plenty of knowledgeable folks who can tell you whether the tools you are looking at are USA.

Good point on constantly changing, too bad because a list such as that would be amazing!

I don't want to ask to be spoon fed here, but who are the tool dealers? I haven't been on here long enough to figure it out. :dunno:
