Hi Everyone

Anyone know if Knipex sells a set of Mig welder's pliers? Looked over the web site, don't see anything that jumps out at me.

The forney editions are JUNK

Channellocks as mentioned above. Price is not bad, quality and fit is WAY better than HF/China ****.

What feature of mig pliers do you need the most? To me, "mig pliers" always seemed like a unnecessary tool. I just use my pair of craftsman needle nose with built in wire cutter. :dunno:

Serrated outer edges for cleaning nozzle, round insert for removing/installing tips, not wasting a pair of needlenose.

They are just nice because u can clean and remove the cone. Remove the tip. And trim your wire all with one tool. No need to have 4 tools on your welder.

Aw come on guys, we're on this forum because we love tools!

Who asked about buying high end stuff for the welding cart??
( looks around )

I am a firm believe in buying the good stuff so you only have to buy it once.....

To each their own. As you probably know the industry standard is Welpers. YS-50 or something like that. IIRC they are Japan made. I'm sure the Channellock ones are nice and USA made.

Too bad Snap on doesn't make a pair.

P.S. How is your syncrowave doing?
