Nine4 - will do. I've got a few extra lazy S Pros and some regular Protos. We'll get together and compare notes. I would have had a for trade list up by now but things, well you know how it goes. But the weekend is all mine.
1. Finish trade list.
2. Scan my 1973 Proto catalog to a pdf file.

As Promised
Think I found a few things worth posting from an estate sale in Spring, Texas:
- Plomb Tool Box Model 9989 (based on the tool catalog posted here) Paid $15
- Starrett Caliper (flawless including the wood case) $15
- 13 Piece Craftsman Hole Saw Kit No 25763 (it's complete) $8
- 3 lb Vaughn hammer $4
The box had some crusty junk inside, including a Plomb Keychain Screwdriver stamped Reno Motor Supply on back. I'll clean-up the box and post it on the The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal! thread.
Not a lot of sales listed so far here, it may be a bum weekend for me...
SNIP
Been a bit slow lately... The good: spending less $$; the bad: well, that's obvious!

Went to 3 sales this morning, spread out all over the county. It was rainy.

A mixed bag. but MUCH better than expected!
This has nothing to scale it with, but it is about 9" wide and 18" tall, SWMBO likes it and wants to either have some branches on it for decoration, or possibly root ***** willows in it for the same.
Different images on each side. $3

zip, That is super cool. Looks like it would make a good portable box or the like. The price was definitely right.Think I found a few things worth posting from an estate sale in Spring, Texas:

thought it would come in handy
Sitting here waiting out the rain storm.I had been to several yard and estate sales today with only about $8 spent on just OK stuff. I didn't even post those items. I was done for the day so I thought when I wondered by a yard sale with tools. No prices on anything and when I started bundling stuff I was getting great prices. I bought some stuff that I have no need for but the price was right. I got everything in these photos from the same yard sale for $65. He said that he inherited a bunch of stuff that was filling up his basement. He said it was someone who worked for the phone company.
I got an Oster pipe threader (about 43" long), a Prentiss pipe vise (I believe it says NO B), A Harris TS44 Deluxe phone tool, A Bell telephone rotary phone tool, a NOS Fuller Pipe vise (sans pipe), a Klein tool bag, several C clamps (Cincinnati, Stanley, Sargent, Columbian), chisels and sets, two Craftsman wood clamps, a pair of unknown pliers, a couple of hammer or sledge heads, drill bits with case, couple of taps, couple of screwdrivers, two pipe cutters, some grease pencils and 31 tool handles. Some are Stanley tools, most are N.E. Handles out of CT. The largest is 31 inches long, the smallest is the one file handle. Many are new. I am stoked about this find. He said that he has to dig through more stuff and will put some out tomorrow. Guess I have at least one destination for tomorrow.

The pry bar is Craftsman, socket is Williams and there were Williams and Armstrong sockets in the other box so it wasn't total bust... You did well for $5
