And they are Chinese and not Taiwan. I bought these today and I think they are a decent deal for $30 a set. I wouldn't buy them at $60 though.

what dont you like about them?

Ya Id like to hear why? I've owned lots if Gw stuff and the only thing I don't care for are 1/4 extensions, they flex and loose torque. Other then that Gw is awesome.

The black 12 point ring in the box end has slop in it in the larger sizes and the pawl switches have slop in them in all sizes. IMO they are a good deal at $30 but I wouldn't pay $60. If I had paid $60 I would've returned them and spent more for something else.

Oh wow they actually come with 19mm now instead of the stupid 18mm.

Although mine was a sears special with the little ring on the inside so the fastener cant slip through.

Ah, capstop. I hate capstop. It prevents you from using a reverse grip on the wrench. I'd also rather have an 18mm than a 19mm wrench but, i guess it depends on what you work on.

I picked up a set yesterday, for the money they're good. Box end seems good, some of the open ends are kind of crude but i wont be using that end much. I'll have post a pic.

I'll take the trade off. I've run into more situations where I've wanted it than not, though with an box full of GW stuff it does make me groan when I have to reach for a "standard" wrench when I need to go reverse!
