Went through some grandfathers tools today.

Been meaning to make it down to the old house and rummage through the tools I was left but work has said otherwise.

This is just what I managed to find in 1 small box, theres a 4ftx2ft steel box fulll of old railroad tools and Im sure other goodies, but it was much to heavy to move and inspect by myself.





And heres 2 of the tools I have ZERO idea what they are or what they do :dunno:



Any help identifing and dating some of these tools would be greatly appreicated. My grandfather passed before I even had a chance to know him, but my mom said he was a tool guy and was always working on something.

I'm not sure about the others but that last wrench is a telephone lineman's wrench for a few different size pole bolts.

That's some cool stuff. I was on a vintage Billings kick for a while. That's a nice set of wrenches.
