Armor Garage Tiles - Sizing Issue

Hey Folks,
I bought Armor Diamond Garage Tiles last fall after reading a lot about them.(http://www.armorgarage.com/armortiles1.html). Just finishing off the garage redo now and got a problem.

I got dark grey, light grey and black tiles - problem is - the black tiles are not the same size as the dark & light grey tiles. They are just slightly bigger. You can tap them in but they put stress on the other tiles and create a bump/rise up. All the other tiles are no problem.

I'm going to talk to them in the next day or so after I make a video of the problem. Just wanted to check here if anybody else had a similar issue. Any input would be appreciated.

Sorry, haven't tried those. FWIW, I have Race Deck tiles and had no sizing issues with them at all. If you wind up returning what you got, RD is good stuff.

Yeah, I looked at RD and tested it out, definitely a good product. I choose Armor because its softer construction fit my uneven floor better.

RD seems to do a 50% off sale every now and then. I'd check out when they're doing another sale so you can save some money too.

Nope, can't go that route. I seriously tested RD on my floor (bought a sample order of 10 tiles and tried them out). While the tiles have some capability to deal with imperfections (bumps, etc.) they are not really flexible enough for my situation.

I've already got serious money (for me) around $1,700+ (and thats with a 10% disabled veteran discount) in the Armor tiles setting in the garage, almost half already down.

Talked with Armor, they've been really responsive & helpful. The black tiles (fortunately only bought 30 of them for my design layout) are 1/16+" larger than the light/dark grey ones.

Armor is sending me 3 sample black tiles to try out and then will replace mine if the new ones fit. Got my fingers crossed. I'll update when its resolved.

Update: Got my properly sized replacement tiles from Armor Garage. They went down nicely and its looking pretty good. Armor included prepaid FedEx shipping for the return of the misfit tiles, so no ***** in that department.

The Armor tiles are great for folks with really uneven floors (like mine). I'd originally tried a sample of Race Deck (which is a very nice product) but their rigidity didn't work well in my situation, plus they are noisy. The Armor tiles are pretty quiet.

A buddy has a RD floor which looks great but he was working with a smooth, professionally finished floor. The noise bothered him and he reset the tiles with a landscape mesh underlayment. It seems to have worked out for him.

Mine was a DIY hand finished situation (by me) during a rain storm job so it had a lot of imperfections. The Armor tiles have nicely covered my lack of skill in concrete work.

Overall, I'm happy with Armor Garage tiles. They really do cover up a multitude of imperfections. Armor was very responsive in dealing with my situation.

Yeah, I was a bit pissed at the sizing issue problem but gotta give them credit for excellent responsiveness to a customer problem. Mass production is not perfect - its a company's response to screw-ups that really counts. I'd buy from them again.
