I recently bought a Kwik Lift and I use an old 3 ton jack that I've had forever. It works great, but it takes 33-35 pumps to get the lift in the air.

I bought a HF 2 ton aluminum racing jack thinking 18 1/2" was tall enough, but it wasn't.

The rapid pump feature is awesome as is the light weight of wheeling it around the garage.

I've been all over the net looking for an aluminum style racing jack with the rapid pump that will go 20"+, but I haven't had much luck.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Stick a 4x6 block of wood on the saddle. Then it will only take 10-20 pumps and you will get an extra 3.5" of lift.

Do you really need 20" of lift? In many cases, you can simply drop in a raised saddle into the jack that adds enough additional height to give you 20" or more.
I use my jack with regular low saddle for lifting cars, and a raised saddle on pickups.

If you have enough room to roll it under the vehicle with a raised saddle, you can use one to get more total height.

I was hoping to avoid any extra blocks and such, but I may not be able to.

20" is what I need to get the rear stands of the Kwik Lift up.

Having this aluminum one in the garage for one day makes me never want to grab my old heavy 3 ton again.

They were out of that one, I was really hoping to find a lighter weight jack. That one is double the weight of the aluminum.
