Got the lengths listed from another site:
• No. 81028 – 1/4" full polish = 9.3"
• No. 81029 – 1/4" cushion grip = 10.6"
• No. 81264 – 3/8" full polish = 13.2"
• No. 81265 – 3/8" cushion grip = 15.2"
• No. 81360 - 1/2" full polish = 17.4"
• No. 81361 – 1/2" cushion grip = 19"

Ok but, the full polish 81264 3/8 long ratchet I got only measures 10 7/8 overall not the 13.2 inches previously posted for that ratchet. The 81028 full polish XL 1/4 drive comes in at 6 15/16 not the 9.3 inches previously posted.
However, what I got matches the Gearwrench ads for their XL ratchets only being 25% longer than a regular ratchet.

Well that is a real disappointment, I think just saved me $100 or so.

Thanks for posting that fedwrench I was thinking about picking up the 1/4 and 3/8 insrtead of the tll72 and fll80 but that length is kinda a deal killer. Plus my snap on dealer says the tll72 and fll80 are coming out in a bogo deal later this year.

They are the same length as the Snap On Dual 80 series at half the cost? Sounds good to me, waiting on the cushion grips to show up.

Just got the 1/4" & 3/8" Comfort Grip long ratchets today. They are really nice, but as previously mentioned, they are not as long as originally advertised.

The 1/4" is the exact same length as my GW 1/4" Comfort Flex (about 8-1/4")

The 3/8" is about an inch shorter than the GW 3/8" Comfort Flex (about 13").

So what's next? ... Gearwrench extra long series?

03protege - According to your above post, did you order a 1/2" Drive, Flex Head, Cushion Grip Ratchet? Or have you been waiting for one and just ordered the full chrome one? I have been looking for a 1/2" Flex Head from Gearwrench.

Gearwrench does not make a 1/2 drive flex head ratchet with comfort grip. I don't know why.
