In my opinion, yes. I've never had a problem with any of their chisels or punches, and they can be found in many stores.

Saw them at home depot yesterday..I was with my friend and I don't go there that often..we talked by the hammers and i saw epstein and we both went nuts..i almost walked out with a new hammer..him..more than one :shocking:

Nice buy and a steal at a fiver:thumbup:

Not new, but new to me. Picked it up for a fiver at a car boot sale, all it needed was a new plug.
DeWalt DW411 palm sander. Made in USA.

DEC_MMJ_die.jpg

i finally found a DEC MMJ die for my crimpmaster on ebay! i'd say this is probably the best tenner i've spent in a while. i can't wait to start making up some nice custom console cables for all my old VAX equipment...

Is this a good brand in the States?

I am trying to familiarize myself with your tools.

i'd say it's at least a mid range brand, and it is US-made. i've always thought dasco made fine punches and chisels but every once in a while you'll run into someone who absolutely hates them.

Did you forget a number on that $50? Great deal. I just picked this up off my snappy guy and had to share.

KleinPrecisionDrivers.jpg

closing on house delayed again, and a federal government shutdown to throw a nice blanket of uncertainty on my FHA loan to boot. i decided to salve the pain with a new set of klein precision drivers that i'd been lusting after for a while. i really like this set, very nice quality, much better than the precision drivers you find at sears. i guess i must be a real tool-aholic, LOL.

I really wanted these in Green, but Red was on the truck.....As for the filter wrench, if I borrow something 3 times, I try to buy my own.

A few things I've bought over the past few months. Channellock and Knipex and the lone SnapOn pliers are courtesy of the Hot deals section. They GripLocks are pretty nice and grip really well. I've wanting to try a set of these type of pliers for a while now and I'm impressed. They grabbed where vise grip just spun. Really thinking about the Knipex Cobras now, I hear they grip better than the Channellocks and if they do that's pretty impressive.

Set of Craftsman snap ring pliers. These are much nice and easier to use than those cheap fuckers from Autozone. I really like these, should have bought them sooner.

Received my 3/8" locking flex Armstrong ratchet from Advance Auto. The rest of the trinkets are from Cripes.

Same here. Advance split my shipment up and the 1/4" will be in tomorrow. I snagged a gently used 1/2" one on Ebay for half the cost of new. These are nice ratchets.

FWIW, I swapped in the 84 tooth internals from my Craftsman premium ratchets and they are a direct working fit.

those Armstrong locking flex ratchets are awesome, I have all three. How do you like those Napa pliers? I am thinking about picking up a pair.

Edit: I also have 84 tooth kits in mine.

First impression of the NAPA pliers is not exactly great. The pivot pin and nut is not exactly tight and there is little more lateral slop than I like. Also, the bend and hand dressing is a little hacked also.

I plan to use them mainly as hose clamp pliers for limited access. For that, they will probably serve well.

Nothing major. Picked up a nice little 8oz Blue Point hammer for $2 and also finally found a four port Craftsman C3 charger for my power tools.
