The price is 145.00 from the seller and is close by. Just curious as I dont want to insult the seller if I offer a bit lower.

$100-$125 if it runs like it should and no problems. That is a nice machine. Hand crank table and all. But it kinda depends on your local market and thus competition of similar capable drill press available for sale.

I agree 100% 100-125 should be a fair price for you and the seller.

That is kinda what I was thinking, the paint is not the color I would expect for that machine. :headscrat

The cover , motor and base are throwing me off. Plus if you expand the pic there are weird dark spots at the motor id tag and side release.

Its been repainted, and it's only a 5 speed. So if you want it for drilling steel I'd pass on it... (Only really good for wood working, and some soft metal if the holes aren't too big)

It was going to be for my brother and he wouldnt do anything major with it just normal drilling.

It would be good for a diet of 3/8" and less in every material, including steel. Will even do 1/2" in steel, but I wouldn't purchase it if that is all I planed to do with it. It has a nice "metal working" table on it, coolant trough and all. Which actually is a real pain to use for wood working as the T slots fill up with **** and end up staining the wood. My small bench drill has the same type of table on it.
