Craftsman Professional 2 pack USA locking pliers on ebay $27 (Now $35)

This may not be considered a "Hot Deal" to some as this is about retail price on sears.com for these pliers. However these are the older style "Made in USA" ones. I figured I'd post them here since the Hot Deals forum does define a hot deal as a "Time limited" thing.

I did message this person because he has many available. I asked him if they all are the ones as pictured USA made. He said he bought a ton of them about five years ago and they are indeed the legit USA ones.

So here you are fellow GJ users! If you've wanted the old style cushion handled Craftsman Professional pliers this is your chance.

Gee sorry guys! :( I managed to get one at the $27. I would have passed if they were $40. He did indeed list them again for $40 as Upgrading said. Glad I was able to help at least 1 fellow GJ user get them though.

Supply and demand, if no-one wants them at $40 he will lower his price... it's just the free market.

I paid less than that for both of those plug the needle nose locking pliers straight from sears during a sale before.

Looks like he already dropped the price to $35.

I don't think there is enough market to absorb all those sets at that high price. If they were new old stock made in the USA Vise Grips from DeWitt, Nebraska, then people would jump all over them. But anything else is still just a knock off, regardless of country of origin.
