Greetings! Tell me more! Guns? In Cali? Perish the thought! In Phoenix, I met lots of guys who travelled from Cali to buy and take home (illegally) assault-style rifles banned in Cali. They wanted 'em. This was after or right around, Clinton's Gun Ban. About 1993+.
