I doubt if you need to delete anything. The problem you are experiencing is bandwidth capacity. Photobucket operates on (2) models...storage space and bandwidth. I also have an account and have ran into this on a few occasions. Anyhow, my free account has 2gb of storage. Usually this is sufficient and I suspect you are within your storage limits.
The problem is bandwidth. When you have 1 picture that is 250kb in size and you link it to a site like here (with a link so the picture actually pulls from Photobucket servers) you start to experience bandwidth. For each person that views the 1 photo, you use 250kb of bandwidth. If a 1,000 people view the single photo, you use 250,000kb, or 244mb (1,024kb = 1mb). As you link more pictures, and more people view them this equation continues to compound. Especially if your pictures are of significant size.
While I believe Photobucket is a great service, they put these limits in hopes to generate revenue from "pro" users. I think they are actually called "plus" users now. Anyhow, it works the same. You pay some money to expand from the free 2gb account to a higher tier and you not only get more storage space, but UNLIMITED bandwidth! The cool thing is the smallest plus package is a 20gb account and only costs a few bucks per month. It's cheap for what you get, and will permanently fix the (bandwidth) problem you are experiencing. If you exceed 20gb in space...well another upgrade is required, lol.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention....instead of linking pictures from Photobucket, you can also upload the pictures here on GJ. Typically I am not a fan of this; however, they are better than most forums. One advantage I dig is it shows the "thumbnails" when you do it this way and keeps the thread from getting bloated from over-sized pictures. Kind of wish the admins would force picture sizes down to forum widths (on externally linked photos). I am on another forum that does this and it's nice.

You're limited to 7 pictures per post here. There is also a total file size limit (I hit it a long time ago) and no way to remove "old" pictures probably because GJ (rightfully) wants their old content to be complete.
I use www.imageshack.us for my picture hosting now. I've never run into a bandwidth problem and no one has mentioned it.

Glad to help. If you want to try the attachment route, there's a button in the advanced post section (hit "Go Advanced" if you're replying at the bottom of a thread) and then "Manage Attachments". From there you select the files on your hard drive and hit upload. Wait for them to be listed in that popup before you close it or they won't be uploaded.

2. There is a way to delete GJ picture attachments. Go to User CP > Misc (near bottom) > Attachments. Delete at will.
3. My only problem with Imageshack is either their means or methods, or lack of ability on the users behalf. Most times I see their image, it is actually a small picture that kicks open a new window/tab for the real picture. I hate it. I like to read my content on the same screen with normal pictures.

#1 - I started a thread a year or more ago because I hit whatever max capacity I was allowed. Never got an official answer.
#2 - Cool! Point remains, it will basically cause your old posts to be less useful if you clean up old pictures. Also, navigating there, for me it says "You are currently using 14.19 MB to store 114 uploaded attachments." which isn't a lot of space.
#3 - I understand that. There are multiple link options when you link pictures. I started in my refurb thread using the small thumbnails which everyone had to click. I have since used the larger image by default so no one has to click.
I see all the pics are working again, I still dunno how or why it's on and off, or how it "resets" but oh well it works now.
We received some more power tools and hand tools in on Monday, along with the regular jazz that we sell normally. Glad that we got a new product line from A-Shack, mostly it is adhesives and water proofing products. It is one of those product lines that normally seems too good to be true, but once you have used it you will never look back.
And I can report that the Triton Power tools are of very high quality. And to boot it all they have a bench system that turns you router into a spindle cutter and your circular saw into a table saw, very versatile.
Will take some more pictures of how we adapt/evolve/change the spaces we have to work with.

So we had wee little storm here on Sunday and it reeked havoc outside and inside our shop. We had about a foot of rain and gail force wind. Took out our cement shed roof and broke another also deposited heaps of slippery mud and rainwater in the shop itself. Power tools, PAR timber, cables, and some other supplies got water damage. A quick estimate at what we could see was about R200k ($25k)

This is the kind of hardware store that, if I stumbled across it, I'd spend a couple hours just browsing and end up buying stuff I really didn't need at the moment. I would be hard pressed not to buy up all those animal drawer pulls though. Fantastic!
