I've only been lurking on here for a few short weeks now, gathering some ideas for my garage floor and work bench. This is my first home, and first garage that I actually OWN. :D

Started with this:

After patching cracks and diamond grinding:

Starting to get set up:

I used the Epoxy-Coat kit w/ clear, for a 3 car garage. It was my first time EVER attempting anything like this, and so far so good. Work bench utilized some cabinets I picked up for free from the GF's uncle, and then I got an 8' butcher block counter top from Lumber Liquidators. The white shelving unit came with the house. I put some 100W equivalent fluorescent bulbs in the sockets currently in there, and will likely upgrade the lighting at some point.

Let me know what you think! Any suggestions are welcome. :)

Looks great man! I like that butcher block counter top too!

That MR2 a turbo?

Thanks! I purchased the MR2 in 2002 as a bone-stock non-turbo. It now has a high-compression 2.1L stroker turbo engine. All it needs now is a slightly larger turbo... :3gears:

Looks good. Any plans for more shelving units or vertical storage? Also what is the specs on the SW20? I own a Aw11 myself.

I'll be installing a few more things on the walls: maybe peg/slat board, cabinets, shelves, racks...

as far as the MR2 :D
91 n/a chassis
2.1L stroker 9.3:1CR 3SGTE
lightened 5SFE crank
eagle rods
CP forged pistons
ARP head studs
TRD head gasket
Ferrea 1mm o.s. intake & exhaust valves
Crower valve springs & titanium retainers
spearco sidemount intercooler
ceramic CT26 (for now)
ko downpipe into Apexi N1 exhaust
aeromotive stealth 340lph fuel pump
supra 550cc injectors
ATS modified stock FPR (50psi base pressure, effectively turns 550s into 600 injectors)
AEM EMS tuned on E85
spec aluminum flywheel
spec stage 3 lightened clutch
93lsd trans
full polyurethane suspension bushing kit
KW V3 coilovers
TRD front and rear strut tower braces
93T brakes front and rear, with Carbotech XP10 pads
4 runner master cylinder w/ mc brace

i *think* that's about it. planning on a GTX3067R once funding frees up for it. right now with the CT26 it's 270whp and 280wtq, with incredible response.

finally got my wall cabinets up above the work bench:

purchased bare cabinets from menards and stained them to match the lowers (it's close enough...) and got them hung today. next up is some under-cabinet lighting to really light up the work area, some cord management, and maybe some hooks or other mounting points on the 2x4 under the cabinets. oh, and the side trim pieces to give them a more finished look.

finished the under-cabinet lighting this week. all that's left is to patch the access hole next to the switch (converted from the outlet that used to be there).
