Quite a nice modification to the garage! And man, that Ford 'truck' is very cool!
very nice!
Fan-freakin'-tastic! You must be chuffed (as the Brits say). It's absolutely amazing how tailor-made your truck is for the space! The bed and cab fit perfectly under your ceiling pattern. Amazing. How heavy are those diamond plate ramps? Might want to rig together some sort of hanging system. Have you had time to figure out what you will do with the electrical cords?
Very cool Andrew.....
That may be the way to go, probably need to get the electrician back out and run it.Time to update your thread title, as you now have a 4 car garage! Worked out great, and nice touch with the diamond plate ramps.
Thanks!
Could you run the cords up and plug into a ceiling outlet?
Cool, a reverse set up truck! They did a lot of wild stuff w/ the Econolines and other COE compact trucks, wheelstanders, you name it..The pictures of your pickup reminded me of watching this pickup drag race when I was just a kid.![]()
Thanks, been a 3 month project but it's done! Glad you like the Econo!Quite a nice modification to the garage! And man, that Ford 'truck' is very cool!
Very slick finish to a well thought out project.
It gives a new and novel meaning to Econoline Pickup! LOL
Neat cars!
I've been looking at this lift myself. Could you do me a big favour and let me know what sort of gap space is between your wall and the runway? Am guessing the posts on that side are against the wall. As I'm trying to workout placement ideas in mine.
Thanks.
Really enjoyed reading your thread and progress.
I love this. I live around the corner from you in Addison and would love for you to bring the 'Conoline to cars and coffee.
Quick question, What wheels are those you put on it? I've seen them in a magazine but can't put my thumb on it. Would love some for my 93 Flareside

Just checked out your awesome build, very nice! Where in Texas are you?
Gap space between the wall and the runway (movable runway, set at narrow setting) is about 21 1/2"-22".
Andrew,
Stumbled on your thread here. Awesome job on the garage, lift, etc!
I know I've seen at least one of your cars at Cars/Coffee.
I'm at Independence/Legacy, probably not too far away from you.
I like your loyalty towards the blue oval! Great job on the Econoline, very cool truck! I like the clean look of your foxbody as well.
Are those porsche wheels on the coupe? I miss my black/black 93 coupe
I'm over in Parker, seeing everything you fit in your garage is amazing. Especially knowing how builders neglect garage space in this area.

I got the '56 Thunderbird up on the lift this weekend. Changed the diff fluid and checking over the Airride suspension as it gets some initial miles on it.
Did you put the air system in? What system did you go with?

Love the garage and the cars--we just moved from Plano (close to Chuck in Whiffletree) and are building in Lucas. I'm a Cars and Coffee regular as well with my Cassisrot (purplish copper) 928S4 and the STIGWGN (a CTS-V wagon).
Wow. That is stunning in white. Congrats!
