Found it at my local Sears store in Granbury, TX. I don't need them, but figured someone else may be interested. They are normally $99.99, marked down to $49.99.

Picked up the same set here too for the same price. I already have a home set, these are going to work.

WOW that's an awesome price in my opinion. They aren't flex head but to me I never had to use a flex head wrench in all the years I have been working on cars.

Also they don't skip the 16mm and 18mm like the 7 piece sets I use 18mm on my truck.

Damn these deals always come out when I'm broke:sad:

They are $50 almost every month. They are also the cheaper Chinese ones with the larger open end. The only I've broken in the 5 or 6 years I've had GW, have been these. Ratcheting ends bind or skip

And just because you've never needed the flexhead, doesn't mean they can't be EXTREMELY helpful.

I feel compelled to point out that you've likely also never *needed* to use a ratcheting wrench of any kind. I don't think anyone has. :lol_hitti

I've had that issue a few times, but definitely not every time. When it's down in a hole I can't reach, I just stick a screwdriver in to keep it on the nut.

Nobody said a flex head ratchet isn't helpful FOR YOU I said they aren't needed by ME.

I purchased the same set last December from Sears, also $49 down from $99 and came with a $5 gift card. If you can find the set in a cardboard box, rather than the plastic hanging display version (as you've pictured), you'll find the boxed version is from Taiwan rather than China. Some Sears must have some older stock with the Taiwanese version, and if it'll be the same price, so a no brainer to get the Taiwanese version.

 i sets I bought last winter were Taiwan and the box includes a decent tray to put in your box drawer.

I had some points to use by Oct 30th so I bought one of these sets. It just arrived and it's in the plastic hanging display but to my surprise its made in Taiwan. With points, I got them for 38.99 delivered.

I stand corrected. I'd checked my local store, and the plastic card ones were china. I figured all plastic hanging ones were china and the older cardboard box ones were Taiwan. My ones were in the box with a plastic tray inside & made in Taiwan.

I was curious so I went to Sears tonight and looked at the plastic hanging displays they have. All of them were made in China. But the plastic hanging display I got today from my online order was made in Taiwan. Luck of the draw I guess.

Anyone that's in the Cleveland area. The North Olmsted sears has an entire display of these that are Taiwan. I will be getting this set finally tomorrow. For what it's worth there is no difference that I can see between the Taiwan and china sets. I would buy this set either way china or Taiwan.

All China sets here in Bakersfield and were still ringing up as $99.99. Looked them up online and the best they could do was $59.99 and find a $5 off coupon. Guess I will keep waiting on these, they're not going anywhere.
