I have a 20kw electric boiler setup with an Aube thermostat with slab sensor. (http://www.aubetech.com/products/produitsDetails.php?noProduit=92&noLangue=2)
I've found that when I open one of my overheads and bring in a vehicle, the cold gust of air will hit the thermostat and it will call for heat when really it doesn't need it. The boiler will cycle on and once the air has settled and warmed up, it shuts off as there is no need for it.
How can I avoid this? I was under the impression the slab sensor thermostat was designed to avoid this, but I was wrong. It's wasting electricity, and more importantly, my money!
Is there a way to delay the call for heat signal from the thermostat to the boiler by 5 minutes or is there a different thermostat I could use?
Any help would be appreciated!
