I was changing the cutting edge on our d7r the other day and my old blue point 3/4 impact gernaded, whatever broke actually broke the outside housing from the inside. a one inch pieace came right off and a large split down the side. sorry no pics. can anyone recommend a good impact to replace it? thanks

you need to get pics of that! That would have been an awesome video.
Anything IR makes would be good and rebuild-able. HF earthquake is probably half the price, and more viewed as expendable once they give up the ghost. Depends on what you're looking for. If it breaks and you throw it away get the HF one. If you want to rebuild when it breaks look into an IR

Definitely second this one. I love my 3/4" dr earthquake and have had zero problems with it.

Hoe ironic my blue point 3/4 died yesterday also. Just lost all power and I just had it rebuilt in march. I'm pretty peeved about it.
