Live Channellock side cutter review

I'm going to be doing a live review of the channellock's 8" side cutter. For comparison I have it's 2 year old german red handled step-brother Any one is welcome to ask questions. I am beginning work now and will check the thread in 10 minutes after posting.

BACKGROUND:
I have never used these side cutters before. I have 6 years using the knpipex
with 3 different pairs.

i'm going to be cutting heat shrink, 20AWG multistrand copperwire. Soldered wire. Mistake connectors.

for this app the knipex, but for applying more force i think i would prefer the channellocks.
