These wrenches complete my set...I guess. I have the regular SAE combo wrenches in 1/4-1 1/4 with duplicates of 3/8-3/4 and Metric 8mm-27mm(couple skips like 20 and 25mm), the angle wrenches are 3/8-1 1/4, flare are 3/8-11/16 and 9-17mm and stubby 7/16-1(skips 13/16 and 7/8) and 10-19mm. In all total I have less than $120 including tax and shipping for all wrenches and the Ernst wrench rails. Not bad regardless of coo.



Heres my socket drawer.

Im picking up Carlyle 1/8" shallow and deep and 15mm shallow and deep 1/4 drive from my local Napa hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday (had to order), waiting on Sunex 25 and 27mm 1/2 drive shallow impact from Tooltopia and a kbitmag37r from my Snappy guy for my 2" hex bits. The drawer/Kobalt trays are full so I guess Im finished.

Lastly heres a FL80 I picked up from Split150. Not sure why but the chrome on this thing is MUCH nicer than any ratchet Ive bought off the SO truck in the past year or so. Almost too nice to use....almost

I needed something better for storing my rechargeable batteries.

For AA batteries, I purchased the MTM 50 Round Flip-Top Rifle Ammo Box WSSM, 500 S&W (Clear Blue).

and for AAA batteries I purchased the MTM 41/44 Cal 50 Round Flip-Top Ammo Box (Clear Red).

They're designed for ammo storage but work nicely for storing batteries, plus they're made in the U.S.A.

I picked up a EZ-AIR Accu-gage from G.H. Meiser last week and liked it alot, but wanted a longer hose. I contacted G.H. Meiser and they made me a longer (36") hose for the cost of shipping. Why the longer hose? I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair and the longer length hose lets me hold the gauge on my lap and makes checking tire pressure super convenient. Needless to say, I was impressed with G.H. Meiser's customer service.

I was in the market for a new cordless drill and impact driver and after playing around with a friend's 14.4v Hilti tools (which out performed all other 18v tools we put it up against at work) I decided that it was worth it to spend the extra money on something that was more robust than the 18v setups that are sold at Home Depot and Lowes...

China.mac red handled pliers are non USA and I believe some blacks are USA.shouldnt matter anyways.i bought the same set a year ago and they have been awesome.

Can you explain? I don't see the difference bewteen "ride in base" like you mentioned.

As for age there should be a sticker inside it somewhere giving date, model and all that jazz.

No I really don't. what is the benefit to the "base" does it lift out of the base and leave you with a platform on wheels.

I'm pretty sure on boxes that new they only had a sticker, the older boxes had a stamp, then stamp w/ sticker, then sticker only IIRC. They still sell that box. As for transition between square and round edges That is kinda a broad range of different boxes. Some boxes since the beginning were rounded. I'm not sure of the production range for that box.

Thanks for the tip, this should go in the repurpose thread as well. Now that I'm using Eneloop's I don't have near as many batteries as I used to. If it wasn't for one clock, "C" and "D" cells would be totally out of my inventory.

It's Bacho so as a general rule its either Sweden or Spain, most likely Spain.

Got this from an industrial supplier today, made in USA, yay! Only 3 USA ones left, NOS obviously, the other two had thick grimy dust on them and the lock buttons were frozen. 2 decades of hanging on a hook waiting to be sold perhaps? This one works great.

I'm a sucker for tape measures, and I find this particular style of Lufkin to be the most comfortable and ergonomic for my medium sized hands. The Hi-Viz Lufkins are nice, but these chromed plastic ones are, well, more elegant.

My new tools I got in today...but the 1/4" set is probably going back as it is used and the ratchet was a T936 not a t72 like is supposed to be in the set. Unfortunately snap on was closed by the time I got the package so I have to wait until tomorrow to call them and find out how this happened and how they are going to fix it.
