Sorry I did not word that correctly... I SHOULD have read "I INSTALLED a 115,000 BTU Propane Heater"

The heater is installed, tested and ready heat! :rocker:

And you are sooo right the temps are dropping fast!

Chris

That's good. I read it as I have "to" install. :lol_hitti

The shed needs the organized! But at least the lawn stuff is not "in" the barn! :)

So this one was a little TOO close for comfort...

High winds took a LARGE trunk of our Weeping Willow. It came within about 6' of hitting the barn. God spared the barn though!

I like the shed idea, it's great for getting yard stuff out of the garage. I did something similar with my garage shed. It's been awesome not to have that stuff in my garage or the house garage.

Just went through from page one on this build. You my friend have done one heck of an amazing job. I spent most of my time in awe of your insulation job on the ceiling. Just a gorgeous looking interior. Lawn shed looks to be well insulated as well. Great idea to keep the heat in the main shop since that lawn shed doesn't need it. And thank God that tree steered clear of the build!

Thanks! The insulation was time consuming but I think it turned out pretty good.

Funny story on the tree. I was out of town and my wife emails and asks that I call her RIGHT AWAY! (which is weird) so I call and she says "let me start by saying the barn is ok" so at this point I am thinking all kinds of BAD stuff! Interestingly enough I was not thinking a tree almost fell on it! Yes we are very thankful God chose to spare the barn any damage.

So I got to work IN the barn Saturday (rather than on it). I was working on my Firebird. Anyway, When I went out the temp inside was 48 degrees. I kicked the heater on and set it to 50 degrees. 10 minutes later the barn was at 51 and then touched 52 degrees. I was very happy with that. It was 28 outside temp at the time. So I worked most of the day out there (until about 4pm) and the heater never kicked on again and the heat stayed at 52 degrees. The sun never came out so with 28 degree outside temp and a windy day I was very pleased with the performance!

So then Sunday I went out at 4pm and checked how much the temp had dropped and it was only down to 47 degrees! It was 19 degrees outside over night and 22 degrees all day (again over cast). I think the insulation is doing it's job nicely!

That's all for now.
