Thanks to all that helped in this thread. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3489419#post3489419

Got this Made in Canada, Rouseau cabinet from a lady whose ex-husband was an aircraft mechanic. Was posted on Kijiji(like Craigslist). She was asking 200$, and I ended up being the highest bidder somehow at 170$.

Its in great shape no rust, just greasy. I took the casters off because it was too high.

Now its 60" high, 35" wide, and 24.5" deep.

Came with a full box of dividers for each drawer, and a big box of old-school screwdrivers.

It is really heavy. My brother and dad barely loaded it into the truck. Weighs over 400lbs for sure.

First in YOU ****. More than likely better built than the new truck brand boxes. That looks to be in great condition considering the price. Those industrial cabinets are usually the best in^2 of storage space for the floor space they take up.

Best part is the drawers are kind of self-closing. You push them and they close on their own, and click in. Hard to explain.

If you read the previous thread I had no idea what she was selling until I actually saw it in person. In the pictures it looked like a filing cabinet. I also live 100 km away from her so hence why I made an offer.

If the offer wasn't satisfactory, there wouldn't be a deal.

Instead of being a ****, why don't you state in your ad "Offers accepted in-person only". I also state a block of time on a specific day I will be available. It weeds out the dreamers.

Calling him a clown for getting a good deal reeks of jealousy.

I didn't end up getting it LOL. Yeah it looks great but having a corner that was ripped with no easy repair possible just killed the deal for me. I have my eyes set on another pair however .

O, I thought you ended up purchasing that one.: Hope the other pair works out well for you.

400 lbs??!! Jeebus, that thing will outlive the cockroaches! Good on ya for getting a bit shaved off the price. I sell stuff on Kijiji all the time and purposely price stuff too high to make sure I get my bottom line, it is what it is.

Nice Score.
