Need help with circa of this drill stand

I've looked at so many drill stands over the past two days I can't see straight. I have only found one pic of one like it but couldn't verify the date. I want to throw this thing on eBay, but would kinda like to know the circa it was made. It has the 50's badge, but the original gold paint is throwing me off. I thought the gold was '60's? This one is cast iron as all the others I find look cheap and made from sheet metal. I've been scouring VM catalog reprints with no luck yet. Any ideas? The Drill is a model Craftsman "60" that I put on there trying to stay period correct.

Edit, sorry about the rotated pic, 'portrait' never works on this site for some reason

Buy it some flowers and candy. Write it some love poetry. Call it often, but not too often. Open doors for it, pull out chairs for it.
And from the looks of it, it's been around the block a few times. Whatever you do, USE PROTECTION!

Feel free to PM me for more dating advise.

Nice little stand. That looks like Power Bronze paint to me which would date it roughly 1959-1963/64. My table saw is from the Power Bronze era and has a 1962 date code on it.

Sent directly from the Snap On Kool Aid factory.

1950's mid to late would I want to say.

This is where I'm at. When did they drop the badge on this one for the Crown top? and When was the Power Bronze introduced? More research I guess......:eyecrazy:

I think I verified through Red Leaders garage post that the Bronze color with the 50's badge is around 1956-60. I guess I'll go on that. He's pretty sharp.
