I just picked one up. I looked on the shelf before going to pickup and found a made in USA one. Then went to pickup and exchanged the China one they picked for me. Great deal for USA tools. Total was 27 and change after some points I had.

Ugg Sears ****** website strikes again, can't sign in or ad to my cart from the link or searching the item number. Great deal if I can ever get it to work. I've signed up for C club at least half a dozen times and still seem to not be a member after a while.

Just got back from the local Sears. They had a US set, but said they couldn't price match it on the register so they had to order one to get shipped to me (not sure why they couldn't order one for pick-up in store). I told them if the one that gets to me is Made in China I'll be returning/exchanging it if the US set is still there on Monday.

The maple top is decent, but you can go to the Ikea in Bolingbrook or Schaumburg near your location in Chicago to get just the top for half that price if you're going to put it on top of an existing workbench or whatever.

I started to read this thread and made a run to Sears. Unfortunately, they couldn't price match but could order it online. I had checked them out, they had 4 in stock, one of which was USA.

I ordered it at Sears, online at their terminal. Since it was an hour before closing, the order went through but I won't be able to get it till tomorrow. The new store owner had me put my name and phone number on it & set it in back. He will call me in the morning when the pick up confirmation comes through.

I ordered the 42 set. I know a lot of you want the USA set and I wonder if it's the buy USA thing or an obvious difference in quality. I myself will walk out with the China set if that is what they have. I only work on family and friends stuff so I dont need the top of the line. Just something that will work and if it does break easy to exchange.

Thanks! I ordered online and was given a China set at pick-up. Went to the shelf- last one on the hook was dust covered and Made in USA, sticker says it could've been there almost 2 years. They let me exchange them.
