Another scrap yard save, Rock Island 577 vise

1/29/14, I posted the below back in 11-13 and misidentified it. I called it a 577, but its a 77. Marked Rock Island Mfg. Co. 6 in., other side marked Rock Island Ill.
Does anyone have any information about model No. 77? Is it a swivel model 4 sure? Its pre 1930 right? Thanks 4 any info.

11/23/13, Dropped off by my son last nite, he got it from a box of scrap he was dumping/selling at the s yard yesterday.
